This is a true heirloom-grade balsa surfboard, hand-shaped from solid balsa with cedar stringers and a chambered balsa interior, finished in a full high-gloss polish. The board features a beautifully crafted Bird’s-Eye maple fin, perfectly matched to the natural wood tones.
What makes this board exceptionally rare is the blank itself. Balsa typically comes in 10-foot sticks, which means boards over that length usually require a glued joint. This board measures 10’8” and was shaped from full-length stock with no joined sections, an extremely uncommon detail that’s nearly impossible to source today.
