The 7'6" Torq TET Mod Fun with Miami Blue Rails is a versatile crossover surfboard designed to combine funboard stability and paddle power with more responsive turning than a traditional longboard.
Its medium-full nose and 52.4 liters of volume create width and stability beneath the chest, helping the board paddle efficiently and enter waves early. A low-to-medium entry rocker provides useful glide in smaller or weaker surf while helping prevent the nose from catching on steeper takeoffs.
When surfed from the middle, the Mod Fun feels stable, smooth and forgiving. Moving back over the fins engages the pulled-in squash tail and vee through the rear of the board, helping it turn and respond like a shorter surfboard as the waves gain speed or power.
The Futures-compatible thruster setup provides dependable hold, drive and control through turns. This makes the Mod Fun a strong choice for progressing surfers moving down from a longboard or soft-top, as well as experienced riders who want an easy-paddling board capable of handling varied conditions.
Torq Epoxy Technology combines an EPS core with epoxy construction to produce a strong, durable surfboard that remains relatively lightweight and easy to handle. The Miami Blue Rails colorway gives the board a clean, distinctive finish.
