The 6'4" Torq ACT Multiplier in Black Rails is a performance-hybrid surfboard designed to increase wave count without sacrificing shortboard speed, control or maneuverability.
Its slightly wider nose and lower entry rocker provide efficient paddling and help the board enter waves more easily than a narrow performance shortboard. Once on the wave, the low rails, refined foil and responsive performance tail allow the board to accelerate quickly and transition smoothly through turns.
The round tail adds hold and control in more powerful or steeper sections, giving the Multiplier a broader usable wave range than a dedicated small-wave groveler. It is a strong option for intermediate and advanced surfers who want one board capable of handling everyday surf as well as cleaner, more substantial conditions.
Five Futures-compatible fin boxes allow the Multiplier to be ridden as either a thruster or quad. A thruster setup provides predictable control and rail-to-rail turning, while a quad configuration can add speed and drive through weaker or more open-faced waves.
Torq’s ACT Pre-Preg construction uses a high-density EPS core and precisely controlled epoxy-composite materials to eliminate unnecessary resin weight. The result is a lightweight, strong board with responsive flex and efficient energy return through turns.
