The 8'0" Torq TET Longboard in Sea Glass combines longboard paddle power and stability with the responsive feel of a shorter funboard. Its compact length makes it easier to carry, turn and fit into tighter sections than a traditional 9-foot longboard.
A full outline, medium entry rocker and 60 liters of volume provide smooth glide and dependable wave-catching ability in smaller or softer surf. The quick midsection, slightly pulled squash tail and three-fin configuration give the board additional speed and control when the waves become more powerful.
Unlike the Wood Mako version, this 8'0" model uses a Futures-compatible thruster setup. The three-fin configuration creates a more responsive, performance-oriented feel with added hold through turns, making it well suited to surfers who want longboard stability without giving up maneuverability.
This model can work as a transition from a soft-top, a compact longboard for developing surfers or an easy-paddling alternative for experienced surfers. Its shorter length may be especially appealing to riders who have limited storage space or find a full-size longboard difficult to transport and handle.
Torq Epoxy Technology combines an EPS core with epoxy construction to produce a strong, durable board that remains relatively lightweight and easy to manage.
