The 8'0" Torq TET Longboard in the Wood Mako colorway offers traditional longboard glide in a shorter, easier-to-handle package. Its full outline, medium entry rocker and 60-liter volume provide strong paddle power, stability and early wave entry, while its compact length makes it more maneuverable than a full-size longboard.
This model works well for surfers who want an easy-paddling everyday board without stepping up to a 9-foot longboard. It glides smoothly through smaller and softer waves, offers enough nose area for developing traditional longboard technique and remains responsive when surfed from the tail.
Unlike most 8'0" Torq longboards, the Wood model features a versatile 2+1 fin configuration. Ride it with a center fin and side bites for added control and maneuverability, or experiment with the setup to adjust the board’s feel.
Torq Epoxy Technology construction combines an EPS core with epoxy materials to create a board that is strong, durable and relatively easy to carry. The Wood Mako finish gives the board a clean, distinctive appearance inspired by a traditional wood surfboard.
