The 6'2" Torq TEC PG-R in Graphite Rails is a high-volume performance groveler designed to generate speed and maintain shortboard maneuverability in average, everyday surf.

Its 42.2 liters of volume, generous width and low entry rocker provide strong paddle power and help the board accelerate quickly in smaller or weaker waves. The wider platform carries speed across flat sections, while the shortboard rails, performance tail rocker and squash tail provide control when the wave offers a steeper or more critical section.

The PG-R feels stable and reassuring beneath the feet, making it a useful progression board for surfers who want added flotation without stepping away from performance surfing. Experienced riders can use the board’s speed to produce more powerful turns, tighter direction changes and a more aggressive approach in less-than-perfect conditions.

Five Futures-compatible fin boxes allow the PG-R to be ridden as either a thruster or quad. A thruster setup provides familiar control and predictable turning, while a quad setup can create additional speed and drive through weaker sections.

Torq Epoxy Composite construction combines a high-density EPS core, reinforced fiberglass and carbon components to balance durability, responsive flex and relatively low weight. The Graphite Rails finish gives the board a clean performance appearance.
